DAY 1

Arrival to Tbilisi.

Welcome “Kakhetian” lunch.

Transfer and accommodation at a cozy hotel.

Evening excursion through Tbilisi.

Dinner at a star restaurant on the top of Holy Mount Mtatsminda overlooking the night city; Once John Steinbeck, a prominent American classical author of the 20th century, tried to dance a Georgian national dance together with a beautiful woman and ever great Georgian dancer.

After dinner coming down by a cable car.


DAY 2

Visiting Ancient Town Mtskheta

Mtskheta - Chronicles of Iberia, and the very heart of Georgia is situated at the junction of the main Georgian rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari.

Jvari – it is a masterpiece of the Byzantine period classical architecture, and the most “labeled” landmark offering fascinating landscape view.

The Pompeii Stone Bridge lot dated back to 65 BC.

Five sacral relics of Svetitskhoveli Cathedral of 12 Apostles; according to the holy script a cedar raised in the royal garden turned into a sacral tree in the 4th century AD.

Miracles by Holy Mother Virgin Assumption’s frescos at Shio-Mgvime Monastery and story of Holy Martyr Monk Shio holding burning incense onto his hand.

Getting familiar with the traditional Kakhetian winemaking at a royal cellar and tasting special and premium class wines “recommended by the olds”.

Royal lunch” accompanied with a glass of premium wine revealing centuries-old love-stories through its aroma.

Returning back to Tbilisi.

DAY 3

Authorized Private Tour through Tbilisi

The Pushkin Garden, and central avenue called after Shota Rustaveli, the author of “Knight in the Panther’s Skin” truly estimated as the encyclopedia of the Georgian literature.

Beauty cannot be destroyed by time! Jewelries exhibited at the National Museum of Georgia have over 5000-year history. You can enjoy the alluring beautiful jewelry collections called the Georgian Treasure.

Attending rehearsal by the Erisioni or the Sukhishvilis (upon luck)! Inspired intrigue and unique opportunity to see creation of incredible Georgian dance performed by the best national dancers!  

Moving to German borough, and revealing mystery of Oldenburg Palace hiding a love-story under its train.

“Tiflisian Lunch” and dishes prepared according to special recipes by Georgian publicist Princess Barbare Jorjadze.

The Dry Bridge, “an open-air vernissage of vintages”, and the entrance to the former “Hotel de Londres”, where used to live Norwegian writer Knut Hamsun.

Lacy decorated balconies overlooking the River Mtkvari, and sulfur baths leading us to the history of founding ever kind and generous ancient town Tiflis.

Fig tree alley under unassailable military fortress Narikala and old small streets of Tiflis.

A cup of aroma coffee and first impression of Tiflis by French traveler Jean Chardin’s eyes.

Visiting a wine shop with advanced concepts using Enomatic systems offering two types of degustation upon your choice:

  • Self-degustation using a sim-card
  • Classical degustation led by a sommelier

Dinner at a restaurant like a bird nest hanging over the River Mtkvari, offering fascinating view and atmosphere.


DAY 4

Traveling to Kakheti

In the second half of the day traveling to the countryside to enjoy Kakheti vineyards and fascinating hills of Tusheti.

Bodbe Monastery, where St. Nino Righteous to the Apostle preaching and Christening Iberia (Georgia) is buried.

Tour to Signagi, a small beautiful town of eternal love; great Georgian artist Niko Pirosmani lived in Signagi in early 20th century. He sold all his paintings and his house and bought million scarlet rouses to his beloved French actress Marguerite de Sevres. 

Pit-stop: a cup of aroma coffee and home-made dessert “pelamushi” (grape juice porridge).

Ancient fortress wall and a landscape view over the Alazani Valley.

“Kakhetian Shashlik” (barbeque) on nut rods, home-made wine and chacha from cellar and warm-hearted feast with philosophic toasts; And, as it is sand in the song, “I do promise you divine feast! The sky will clear and all beyond, as the God creates Georgia for a place to be loved!”   

Returning back to Tbilisi.


DAY 5

Free time;

You cannot leave Georgia without tasting khinkali (meat dumplings) with chacha (Georgian home-made vodka) poured from a kettle;

Transfer to the airport; Flying-off.
